Why Do Guys Grow Their Pinky Fingernail

Kiwi friendliness

Here I I again.
A brief episode of Max and my last trip to Waitara. We met up with Sarah and Lisa from Wanganui and drove together to New Plymouth, where we picked up Serena.

After a beautiful afternoon in NP, we took the bus to Waitara, a "small town", about half an hour from NP. There we were received very friendly by Serena's family .. 4 children, 2 parents, 1 dog, Serena and 4 guests:) The house was full!

Saturday we took Serena to a Kayaktrip on the Waikato River. That was extremly cool because we could simply use the kayaks and the host family usually costs, such a trip around the 60 $:] We had an extremely great time!

Sunday we planned to take the bus from Waitara to NP, to drive from there with the NakedBus back to Wanganui (the girls), and Waikanae (we guys). We waiting at the bus stop, which was not really the right (we were a bit late), but it was a small bus stop shelters since that was intended for school children. So we wait and when the bus comes, we wave fanatic, calling like crazy. The bus driver waves us around the next curve, he will turn and we think, "Yeah .. he keeps behind the next corner!", We grab our stuff running across the street to be fairly run over and run and run and run. . and the idiot bus driver from driving A Friend! How were so there, no bus, no car available .. reasonably close to tears comes to us the idea to call a taxi. Expensive, but we have to somehow get our booked Nakedbus? So call the taxi service, but somehow do not speak proper English and nciht understand what we want. We are stranded. Lost. Forever. * Heul * A friendly woman responds to us when we ask after calming taxi number, but we have asked the Community Center.

And there .. The women behind the counter look at each other and say: Well ... see as our good deed for this year .. we'll go.

this angle, we take this (perhaps slightly mad?) Women in their 40 minutes to New Plymouth. For free?

After the ultimate destruction of the ideal of the New Zealand experience by the driver of this more than offset by the two women.

And the moral of the story? Hurry up and do not miss the bus: D
(. Naaaah. ^ ^ just joking:)

Catch ya!
