Chondroitin From Seafood

ceasefire

In Gaza, there is now a ceasefire, to happiness. Unfortunately, much too late, 1,300 people have been killed, according to some a real massacre.
For example, in the opinion of Ruven Moskovitsch. The 80-year Holocoust survivors and co-founder of Neve Shalom Marvin and I have today made spontaneously, because he was in the village. He was very sad and angry about the war and the killing in Gaza.
As a Jew who speaks fluent German and known peace activist, he was interviewed in the past, often by German media. According to him, however, not more, since 2 Lebanon war 2006th There he had expressed the Israeli government and people have been very critical and had been "stalled" in the interview.

Despite his 80 years, we saw him on peace demonstrations in Tel Aviv, during the the war took place frequently.

This weekend was again full of political activity.
The human rights organization "Physicians for Human Rights' (doctors of Human Rights) has got permission to send a truck with relief supplies to Gaza. To accompany the truck and against the war, especially the killing of doctors to demonstrate, should be hired buses from Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Beer Sheva Taibeh meet and escort the truck to the border, to demonstrate there.
Marvin and I were sitting on the bus from Jerusalem.
in Ashqelon, the buses but then all caught individually and each 2-5 patrol cars escorted to various stations.
There was then the first bus drivers their license taken away and detained people. The attempt to come by public transport / taxis to the border has hindered the police as well.

all, even though the trial was legal and could actually happen to normal traffic. Finally, we
were then escorted back to Jerusalem and could only get in Bell's Garden in Jerusalem.

On Saturday we had brought greater success.

the day, are Marvin, Sawsan, Maya and I and Diana, a new volunteer, the Thursday has come down to the North. Sawsan there has shown us the villages around her home village, villages from which Palestinians were expelled in 1948.
That was very interesting.

Sawasn

the evening were Marvin, Sebastian, Sonia and I were at a demonstration against the war in Tel Aviv / Jaffa. In contrast to most of the demos here, this was a demonstration during which it was run. This, and the size, I would estimate as 2,000 people, was the dynamism and atmosphere of the demo better than usual, yet peaceful.
The war in the village have some political (again) hochgerappelt and so were some people out there Wahad al Salam. Among other things, also Shady, who was before the war broke out, was still on and has no demo by the circumstances and perhaps also the influence of Yuval, Marvin and I are clearly politicized.

As most of the other 80% of the demonstrators Jews, therefore, only a small proportion were Arabic. Anti-Jewish slogans are like fallen on some German demos well, there were not so, but among many Palestinian flags, an Israeli.
